About Us
Rimalee was founded in 2022 by Alaa, a passionate educator and loving aunt. The inspiration for Rimalee came when she was searching for an engaging activity to do with her niece. Reminiscing about her own childhood memories of making sand art, she realized there were no quality sand art products available. Determined to recreate those joyful experiences, she decided to make the sand art herself, and thus, Rimalee was born!
Alaa’s journey with Rimalee Sand Art is rooted in her passion for education, creativity, and family:
With over 15 years of tutoring experience and certification as a K-12 substitute teacher, Alaa has spent her career inspiring and engaging children of all ages.
As an aunt to three wonderful kids, Alaa saw firsthand the joy that creative activities bring to children. Motivated by this, she combined her expertise as an educator with her love for hands-on learning to create Rimalee Sand Art.
Drawing on cherished memories of sand art from her own childhood, Alaa is committed to offering a high-quality, engaging, and memorable experience that sparks creativity for children and adults alike.
